Hot dog recipes

BACON-WRAPPED HOT DOG

1 tomato, chopped

¼ c. chopped onions

1 jalapeno pepper, chopped

10 slices bacon

1 pkg. hot dogs

10 hot dog buns

¼ c. mayonnaise

½ c. tomato ketchup

¼ c. prepared yellow mustard

Combine tomatoes, onions and peppers. Wrap one bacon strip around each hot dog, tucking in ends of bacon slices to secure. Grill 8 to 10 minutes or until bacon is done and hot dog is heated through, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towels. Meanwhile, brush mayo evenly onto both sides of buns then grill 1 to 2 minutes on each side until lightly toasted on both sides. Fill buns with hot dogs; top with tomato mixture, ketchup and mustard.

¼ c. prepared blue cheese salad dressing

2-3 tsp. hot sauce

Hot dog buns

¼ c. chopped celery

Prepare franks according to directions on package. Combine salad dressing and hot sauce to taste. Fill buns with franks. Top each with blue cheese dressing and celery. ...
