A specially made cake adorned with the emblems of the Armed Services branches was served at a Nov. 12 recognition luncheon at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Gloucester, for the veterans in the congregation. Elder Tom Meier spoke briefly and thanked veterans and their spouses for their service.
