The Gloucester Branch NAACP held a reception last Wednesday, May 25 at Gloucester’s Edge Hill House to honor Dr. Walter R. “Rick” Clemons, right, on the occasion of his being named Virginia’s 2022 Superintendent of the Year. Clemons is now in the running for National Superintendent of the Year, which will be announced in February.
