The Mathews High School guidance department recently released its honor rolls for the second quarter and first semester of the 2017-2018 school year. Students named to the Honor Roll of Excellence (all As) for the second quarter were:

Seniors—Aileigh Daniel, Tayler Freeman, Sawyer Hutson, Lauren Mitchem and Reilly Price.

Juniors—Morgan Buchanan, Will Hutcheson and Sam Perriello.

Sophomores—Ellie Armistead, Madeleine Maggioncalda and Matthew Taylor.
