The Mathews High School guidance department recently released its honor rolls for the first quarter of the 2017-2018 school year. Students named to the Honor Roll of Excellence (all As) for the marking period were:

Seniors—Aileigh Daniel, Jolie Ewell, Emma Hudgins, Sawyer Hutson, Nicole Liscoe, Lauren Mitchem, Reilly Price, Ashley Shackelford and Anne Stewart.
