The Mathews High School guidance department recently released its honor rolls for the second quarter and first semester of the 2016-2017 school year. Students named to the Honor Roll of Excellence (all As) for the second quarter were:

Seniors—Josey Bauby, Kathryn Bray, Madeline Brown, Ellie Gale, Ella Metzger, Lauren Quezada, Scooter Ransone and Madison South.

Juniors—Julia Bandurco, Emma Hudgins, Reilly Price and Rachel Witt. Sophomores—Kate Casper and Will Hutcheson.

Freshmen—Avery Betz, Kamryn Blake, Kirk Casper, Kristen Frank, Lydia Hudgins, Madeleine Maggioncalda, Jessie Mills, Jack Perry, Max Sanderson, Matthew Taylor and Jennifer Wells.
