The Gazette-Journal’s two photo history books, a Hometown Album each for Gloucester and Mathews counties, were due to be shipped Wednesday from a bookbindery in Pennsylvania.

Customers who have ordered and paid for their books are invited to stop by the Gloucester or Mathews office to pick them up, possibly beginning the end of this week. We will notify those who have already ordered, and will mail books immediately to customers who chose that option.

Single copies of the books are available at our offices, hardbound for $30 plus $1.59 sales tax, or softcover, $25 plus $1.33 tax. Postage is $6 extra per book. The Gloucester office is located at 6625 Main Street; the Mathews office is on Court Street.
