Homeschool Family Days upcoming at area museums

Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown will make history for homeschool students with special admission Sept. 6-14 during Homeschool Family Days, an annual opportunity to discover the sights and sounds of early America.
In time for America’s 250th anniversary, homeschool students can discover a variety of educational and engaging experiences with unlimited visits to both history museums, where visitors connect with the stories of our shared history. A special kick off on Sept. 6 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown will feature American Revolution and STEM activities presented by regional organizations, including George Washington’s Mount Vernon, Hampton History Museum, Virginia Master Naturalists, Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands, York County Historical Museum, and Fort Monroe.
