Homeschool co-op classes to be offered starting this fall

Gloucester’s Homeschooling Together, a homeschool support group for the Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas, is beginning a K-12 co-op this fall. This co-op will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays and will run weekly from Sept. 10-Dec. 10, and then from Jan. 8-April 9.

Classes will be offered in reading, writing, science, history, music, art and other subjects. Classes will have a maximum size of 10 students, and will class times will be 50 minutes long. Teachers will be highly qualified in the content area they are teaching in, and the students will enjoy a wide array of learning, new friendships and more benefits, according to a release.

 

Currently, applications are being accepted to teach a class, or classes, at the co-op.
