Coastal Comfort Home Furnishings opened for business Nov. 9 on Main Street in Gloucester.

Becky Mann owns the business with her husband Dennis. The new store is a sister to the couple’s Coastal Comfort in Deltaville, which they opened in February 2008.

Gloucester County afforded them a better location for year-round business, Mrs. Mann said, and they are operating the store here six days a week compared to three days a week at their store in Riverside North Shopping Center in Deltaville. The new store is filled with mattresses by Winndom, a Hopewell company. The Manns sell standard and custom mattresses, including those for homes, boats and recreational vehicles. They take a template to get specifications in a boat for Winndom to make custom mattresses.

The shop also has a selection of furniture by Best Home Furnishings of Indiana, along with futons, daybeds, sofas, couches, lamps and other accessories, and gift items.
