Holy Week services to be held in counties beginning Monday

The Mathews County Christian Ministerial Association will hold Holy Week services at noon Monday through Friday, March 26-30 at Westville Christian Church, Mathews.

Speakers and musicians will include: Monday, Lisa Blackmonson, pastor of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church, Cobbs Creek, and Nancy Layng; Tuesday, Gary Barker rector of Kingston Episcopal, Mathews, and John Choi, pastor of Central United Methodist, Mathews; Wednesday, Everett Hughes, pastor of Westville Baptist, Mathews, and Bill Lawson, former pastor of New Point Friends; Thursday, March 29, Choi and Barker, and Friday, March 30, Dede Parrish, pastor of Beulah-St. Paul United Methodist and Blackmonson.

Other ministers participating in the 30-minute services will be Tim Dice, pastor of Westville Christian, David Hinsen of Living Waters Church, Dutton, and Tom Bunting, pastor of New Point Friends Church.
