In Gloucester

Holy Week services in Gloucester will be held at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday at Gleaning Baptist Church, Dutton. They are sponsored by the Gloucester Union Relief Association of Missionary Baptist.

The theme is “A Redemptive Week” based on Luke 18:31.

Speakers have been announced as follows: Monday, the Rev. Elton Pryor of Zion Poplars Baptist Church; Tuesday, the Rev. James Walker of Morning Glory Baptist Church; Wednesday, the Rev. Andre McCloud of Zion Hill Baptist Church; Thursday, the Rev. Darryl Echols of Rising Valley Baptist Church; and Friday, the Rev. Bradley Holmes of St. Paul Baptist Church.

In Mathews

The Mathews County Christian Ministerial Association will sponsor its annual Holy Week services at noon Monday through Friday, April 14, in Westville Christian Church, Mathews. The 30-minute service will include mini-sermons and special music. ...
