Holy Week services begin Monday

The Gloucester Union Relief Association of Missionary Baptist will hold its annual Holy Week services at 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, April 7, at Morning Glory Baptist Church, Gloucester.

Speakers will include Monday, the Rev. Betty Carter, associate minister of Union Zion Baptist Church, Ware Neck; Tuesday, the Rev. Jerry Bristow, associate minister of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Gloucester; Wednesday, the Rev. Donna Freeman, associate minister of Morning Glory Baptist Church, Gloucester; Thursday, April 6, the Rev. Katrina Brown, associate minister of Bethel Baptist Church, Gloucester, and communion will be celebrated; ministers are to wear robes, deacons, black and deaconesses, white, and Friday, April 7, the Rev. Vivian Holmes, associate minister of Shepherdsville Baptist Church, Gloucester, Margaret Taliaferro and Trustee Robert Larrimore.

The Rev. James Harris, GURA chaplain and pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Gloucester, is the Holy Week chairperson.
