Holland named director of Chesapeake Bay Writers

Williamsburg author Tim Holland has joined the Chesapeake Bay Writers as director of programs, replacing Susan Williamson who resigned to promote her three latest mysteries, “Dead on the Trail,” “Tangled Tail” and “Desert Tail,” a release said. 

Holland is responsible for planning and organizing literary meetings, workshops, speakers, and related events held at various locations in the Northern Neck, including Lancaster, Gloucester, Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Essex, Richmond, Northumberland and Westmoreland counties.

“Tim brings a solid set of organizing skills to this position as well as a creative touch,” said acting president Carol Bova who noted that in addition to his Sidney Lake mystery series and recent novel, “What the Mirror Doesn’t See,” Holland had received a Keating Award for short fiction.
