The Bay School Community Arts Center is offering a number of classes in November, some for holiday-themed art projects.
From creating needle-felted gingerbread houses and holiday chocolates to making a pendant in art clay silver or loom knitting a beanie hat, art lovers are likely to find a project that will both satisfy their artistic urges and provide a special gift for a loved one.
Beginning Monday, classes include painting a watercolor fox, weaving a doll, hand-building pottery projects, making a needle-felted Santa ornament, weaving a personal amulet, weaving a market basket, and creating a spoon-handle angel.
There are also ongoing classes, such as beginner wheel throwing, everyday acrylics, cello lessons, and sit and spin pottery. Artists can also learn the value of self-expression through Chinese Calligraphy Art.
Classes have a wide range of prices, from $40 for some one-sitting classes to $300 or more for a series of lessons. There are classes for children, as well.
