The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society will hold a special “Buy One, Get One Free” clearance sale Friday on more than 200 like-new and used books remaining from the society’s recent History Lovers’ Book Sale.

All books are priced $5 or less and the assorted titles cover a variety of U.S. and world history topics and time periods. The event is one-day only from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at the LVHS Dunton Library, 8346 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster.
