HENRY ALLEN MCCOY

Henry Allen McCoy, 68, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at VCU-MCV Hospital in Richmond.

He was born in Davy, West Virginia. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from Washington Metropolitan Transit as a superintendent, and was a member of the Gloucester DAV.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mason McCoy, and is survived by his wife, Lorena McCoy; his mother, Eula Arnold McCoy; his children, Scott Allen McCoy and his wife Leslie, and Cindy Reddington and her husband Tommy; sisters, Janelle Smith, Vickie Hofmeister, and Janice Donatone; brothers, Jack Arnold, Raymond McCoy, and Paul McCoy, and his grandchildren, Sean Macphail and Brady Reddington.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, from 1-2 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2 o’clock. Entombment will be at Windsor Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum, Dutton.
