Helping Woodville

Members of the Gloucester and Gloucester Point Rotary clubs joined efforts in applying for a grant to benefit the Woodville Park walkway project, which created a walking trail around a lake at the new park. The trail was constructed by placing crusher-run stone over a sand base and was contained by placing treated material on the edge to keep the stone in place. Park Partners, the Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, Rotarians and other volunteers have been instrumental in performing much of the labor. The contribution by both clubs totaled $2,200.
