Helping the community

More than 70 soldiers and 10 civilians traveled to seven different sites throughout Gloucester County Tuesday to complete a number of projects to help various residents and organizations in the community. Most of the volunteers came from the 155th Inland Cargo Transfer Company, based at Fort Eustis, according to unit spokesperson Joshua Morris, also a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point. Others came from the 99th Movement Control Team. “We just wanted an opportunity to volunteer for the Gloucester community,” Morris said.
