Helping the clinic

Phillips Energy at Hayes recently provided a $2,500 gift to the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic as a “Clinic Helper” partner to help support the clinic’s Casino Night, Golf Classic and Oktoberfest events. The GMCC’s Community Health Partner program enables individuals and businesses to support and participate in each of the clinic’s special events through one annual gift. All proceeds from the Community Health Partner initiative benefit patient care for the uninsured in Gloucester and Mathews counties, according to Arlene Armentor, executive director of GMCC.
