Helen M. Aylor, 67, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her brother, Edgar Cox of Roanoke, Va.; her daughter, Dawn Dunn and husband Michael, their children Caleb, Madeleine, Grace and Hollis of Houston, Tex.; her son, Jacob and wife Kimberly, their daughter Sydney of Richmond, Va., as well as extended family and a host of long-time friends.

Helen grew up in Washington, D.C., but lived most of her life in the Roanoke Valley. After a nearly 30 year sales career with Source4 she retired in 2013 and moved to Mathews County, Va.

Helen loved the water, star gazing, shag dancing and spending time with her grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held in Roanoke, in the upcoming weeks.
