HELEN EYE BROWN

Heaven received a beautiful angel on Feb. 16, 2016. Helen Eye Brown, 83, of Gloucester, Va., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was preceded in death by her dad, Morris Eye; mother, Texie Eye, and brother, Bob Cooper.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Gene Brown; four daughters, Pat White, Donna Moore (Ben), Pam George (Thurman), Becky St. Amour (Roy); three stepchildren, Juanita Davis (Mark), Timmy Brown, and Chris Brown; five grandchildren: loving granddaughter, Julie (Mike), Donnie, Benji, Steven, and Timothy; four great-grandchildren, April, Kenny, Tucker, and Braxton; great-great-grandchildren, Neal, Cameron, and Adora; one sister, Ruth Boniwich, and four brothers, John, Joe, Harold, and Frank.

Helen worked at Rueben and Harris for 40 years and at the United States Post Office. Helen loved working with Gene in Belroi Upholstery Shop. She was a woman of many talents. She loved quilting and sewing and made amazing things.

Helen was born and raised in Red Creek, W.Va.

Go rest high on that mountain.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home and Crematory, Gloucester.
