Charles Barrett, LMT, is the new massage therapist at Heart Felt Touch Massage Therapy, which is located on York Avenue in Gloucester Court House.

Before becoming a licensed massage therapist, Barrett served in the U.S. Army and graduated with a degree in computer networking. He then spent the next 16 years working in Information Technology and “chasing the corporate ladder,” said Barrett.

Barrett found his true passion in massage therapy, where he could help people, he said. He studied at the Florida School of Advanced Bodywork where he earned a certificate in Medical Massage Therapy. Barrett is now licensed by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, the North Carolina Board of Massage Therapy & Bodywork and the State Nursing Board of Virginia.
