Heart Felt Touch Message Therapy, LLC, now offers two new services to their clients, cupping massages and myofascial release.

Owner Ginger Peer-Spencer and two of Heart Felt Touch’s providers Jasmine Sydnor and Nicole Abbitt were recently certified to offer cupping messages. Peer-Spencer said cupping uses silicone cups to decompress tight areas and trigger points. The cups use suction to create space in muscles and scar tissue to draw blood to the area and relieve tightness.

In cupping, some of the cups are placed to remain static while others are used in motion, said Peer-Spencer. She said that the new service often feels deeper than some compression massages.

Peer-Spencer said that she and Abbitt were also now certified in myofascial release. She said that myofascial is a very slow technique the works on releasing trigger points and areas of trauma such as scar tissue.
