Hearings to be held Tuesday on zoning requests

The Mathews County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors will hold joint public hearings on three requests for conditional use permits in the rural zoning district during a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse.

Alandus Ware of Ware Towing & Auto Service has requested a permit to conduct an auto service business at 3890 Buckley Hall Road.

David and Kali Perkins are requesting a permit to place a Middle Peninsula Gateway Communications telecommunications tower at 7565 New Point Comfort Highway.

The Julia A. Anderson Trust has applied for a permit to use a licensed travel-trailer as a temporary home at 1295 Tabernacle Road.

The applications are on file in the department of planning and zoning in the county administration building on Brickbat Road. For more information, call 725-4034.
