Hearing Tuesday on senior center lease

Gloucester supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, beginning at 6 p.m. in the colonial courthouse. The hearing is being held to consider a lease between the county and Bay Aging in regard to the senior center and senior center annex.

The properties, currently owned by the county, are leased by Bay Aging. They are used for senior citizens’ programs and activities. The previous lease expired on Dec. 31. The county proposes to renew the lease for five years, along with an additional five-year renewal option.
