The Mathews County School Board will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2023-2024 budget at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, in the Mathews High School media center.

The school board is currently in the process of developing its budget. The board held its first budget work session before the start of the Dec. 13 regular monthly meeting. A second budget work session will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, also in the MHS media center, prior to the start of the January regular meeting.
