The Mathews County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, to consider a request from Sun New Point RV, LLC. The meeting will be held in the Mathews historic courthouse.

The request is to install five 20-foot vinyl groins with 15-foot spurs along a 200-foot existing bulkhead and maintenance dredge groin cells. The project is set to take place along a portion of the Chesapeake Bay on Sandbank Road.
