Head Start signup is underway

The Bridges Head Start preschool program is accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year for eligible families of 3 and 4 year-old children who live in Gloucester County.

Bridges Head Start staff will be completing applications from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 27, at Gloucester County Public Library—Main Street Center. No appointment is necessary. The number of placements is limited.  

Interested persons should bring proof of income to determine eligibility, a release said. This may be in the form of tax returns, W-2 forms, or three or more paystubs from current job(s). Also bring the child’s birth certificate, Social Security number, and medical insurance card, along with phone numbers and addresses of three emergency contacts. Documentation relating to child support or custody is needed, as well.
