Gloucester County residents will have  the opportunity to safely dispose of household cleaning products, garden fertilizers, weed killers and pesticides, automotive solvents and antifreeze, paint, batteries and lightbulbs at Saturday’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Waste Management’s Middle Peninsula Landfill, located at 12885 George Washington Memorial Highway, Glenns.

Electronics and computers will also be accepted; the collection is open only to Gloucester residents. Another hazardous waste collection will be held in October at the Guinea Road Convenience Center. For more information, call the Clean Community office at 804-693-5370. ...
