Entrepreneur Michele Harrison of Hayes has launched Moxie Design, offering professional creative services such as logos, branding, advertising, brochures and screen printing for apparel and promotional items. In addition, Moxie Design offers media outreach, press releases and photography.

Harrison has always been drawn to design pieces that are simple, have clear and concise messaging and aren’t overcomplicated.

“What I love about graphic design is being able to visually tell a story with as few words as possible,” she said. “I love putting things together like it’s a puzzle and coming up with several different solutions and finding the one that works best for the project.”

Harrison graduated from Gloucester High School and went on to earn an undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in fine arts with a concentration in graphic design.
