The Farm Fresh supermarket at Hayes will hold a grand re-opening celebration this weekend.

Special events are planned at the store from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, with sales continuing through Sunday, store director Kevin Peterson said. Oreo Man, Trix Rabbit, Doughboy, Honey Bee, Lucky the Leprechaun, and Farm Fresh’s own Farmer Eugene, all supplied by vendors, will be featured on Saturday, Peterson said. A balloon artist and face painter will also be in the store.

John Meyer Jr., chairman of the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors, will deliver remarks during the grand re-opening ceremony. Also, Peterson said that 5,000 bonus points—good toward school equipment—will be awarded to Bethel and Achilles Elementary schools for their participation in the Farm Fresh 1.2.3.4 for the Community program and will help jump-start their new school year when parents can use key tags to add their own points to the schools’ program.
