Hayes couple working to bring brew pub to Gloucester

A Hayes couple is helping to spearhead an effort to bring a BrewDog BrewPub to Gloucester. Rudy and Stephanie Heinatz, owners of a local marketing firm, first learned about the opportunity through one of their clients, and hope to make Gloucester the first in the nation to have a BrewDog BrewPub locate here. 

The Scottish-based BrewDog company announced Monday that it plans to open a BrewDog BrewPub in any American city where at least 500 people invest in its “Equity For Punks USA” crowdfunding offering. 

According to Stephanie Heinatz, 500 people must pledge an investment of at least $95 to bring BrewDog to the area. For the $95, the investor will receive equity shares in the company, will own part of the Columbus, Ohio, brewery and the U.S. distribution of BrewDog beer, and will receive numerous other perks of being an “Equity Punk.”
