Harvey Lawrence Barksdale, 62, of Hayes, died Dec. 31, 2015.

He is survived by his fiancée, Gloria Bonniville; children, Harvey, Marvis, Erica, Tanya, Delair, David and Lauren; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Davete Hayes and Gisele Pryor, and brother, Willard K. Keels Jr.

Memorial service officiated by the Rev. Richard Whiteheart will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Inurnment will be private.
