A funeral service for Harvey J. Sallee, 72, of Newport News, was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. He died April 22, 2015.

Born in Kentucky, he served in the U.S. Army, and had a career at Busch Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, eight brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Sallee; son, David Sallee; daughters, Laurie Wolfe and Denise Jones; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Entombment followed at Windsor Gardens Mausoleum with military honors.
