HARRY NORMAN CLEMENTS Jr.

Harry Norman Clements Jr., 90, of Moon, Virginia, former assistant principal for New Kent High School and longtime teacher at Mathews High School, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019.

Harry enjoyed and loved many things during his life such as traveling, camping, hunting, golfing and other outdoor activities. Most importantly, he loved everyone. His love for his family, church family and friends was evident to anyone who knew him.

Surviving him are his devoted wife, Doris Coley Clements; sons, Harry Norman Clements III, Joseph Coley Clements and Thomas Kevin Clements; daughter, LuAnne Clements Knuteson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Alex Clements, and a host of other loving family members.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec, 7 at Newington Baptist Church Cemetery, Gloucester, followed by a reception at Mathews Baptist Church, Mathews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at Mathews Baptist Church with Masonic Rites beginning at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, N.C. 27565.

Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews is assisting the family with arrangements.
