Harriet Janet King, 96, of Holiday, Florida, passed away Feb. 8, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Everett King, formerly of Gloucester, and son, MSgt Matthew David King of Crestview, Florida.

Mrs. King is survived by a daughter, Janette King of Holiday, and a son SMSgt Thomas King (ret.) and wife Rosemary of Port Richey, Florida. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Nancy King of St. Petersburg, Florida, and niece, Jon-Betty King of Newport News.

A memorial service conducted by the Rev. Bill West was held Wednesday April 5, 2017 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, followed by interment at Gloucester Point Cemetery.
