Harold R. Briggs, 76, of Woods Cross Roads, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Harold and Helen Briggs. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; two sons, Scot and Steven and their wives, Beth and Kimberly; a brother, Wayne; a sister-in-law, Carol Paige; two granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Carver Memorial Presbyterian Church, Newport News. The interment will be in the Morning Glory Baptist Church Cemetery, Woods Cross Roads.

The viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
