Hampton Roads ENT & Allergy opened its new, larger suite of offices in Gloucester this week at Gloucester Sentara Arts, White Marsh.

A grand opening of the new office will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, with tours and hors d’oeuvres planned, said Meghan Sonnier, marketing representative for the practice.

The local office handles all types of ear, nose, throat and allergy cases, said Dr. John Howard, a partner in the practice. Howard is assisted here by a staff of six.

Hampton Roads ENT & Allergy is open here Mondays and Wednesdays, with Howard working at the practice’s Williamsburg office several other days each week. In addition, other partners man the practice’s offices in Newport News and Hampton. “Everybody always says theirs is the worst area for allergies,” but this area really is because of so much moisture and the mold, Howard said.
