Tim and Susan Hill of Mathews and Richmond, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elisabeth Hampton, to Garett Samuel Rikard, son of Sammy and Dottie Rickard of Lexington, South Carolina.
Miss Hampton graduated from James Madison University and earned a master of science degree from Johns Hopkins University. She is employed as a consultant with the Federal Aviation Industry.
Mr. Rikard graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in hospitality management. He is a regional sales manager for EcoLab.
A wedding is planned for September 2020 at The Tides Inn, Irvington.
