Halloween movie, trick-or-treat this weekend at Mathews Historical Museum

The Mathews Historical Museum celebrates Halloween this weekend with two events.

“Nosferatu,” also known as “the original scary movie” will be shown at Movie Night on Friday. Doors at the museum, located at 200 Main Street, open at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge to see the movie. A release said those attending are invited to wear a costume and join in the fun.

On Saturday, Halloween treats for children will be handed out at the museum between 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
