There are several spooktacular Halloween happenings and fall fun in both Gloucester and Mathews counties this weekend.

In Gloucester

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Habitat for Humanity of Gloucester and Mathews will hold a fall festival at its location at 3725 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes.

Also on Saturday, are several Trunk or Treat opportunities at area churches. Union Baptist Church, Achilles, will have its drive-thru trunk or treat event from 4-6 p.m.; Bethany United Methodist, Gloucester Point, will host its trunk or treat from 5-7 p.m.; Providence Baptist Church, Hayes, will also host a trunk or treat event, beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by a showing of “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Petsworth Baptist Church, Gloucester, will also have a trunk or treat from 5-7 p.m.

The Gloucester Main Street Association will sponsor the Gloucester Main Street Trick or Treat event Sunday night from 5-8. Main Street will close to traffic during those hours....
