Gloucester native Kenneth A. Hall Sr., a prominent business leader in the county, was the founder of Hall Automotive. This scholarship reflects his desire to give back to the Guinea community so that others can achieve their educational and career dreams, a release stated.
Along with the new scholarship, GHA’s other three—the Guinea Heritage Association Ltd. Scholarship, the C.B. Rowe Memorial Scholarship and the Mac Sisson Technical/Vocational Scholarship—have all raised their awards up to $1,000. The date to apply for any of the scholarship has been extended to May 15.
