Habitat donation

Phillips Energy donated $1,500 of proceeds raised on Giving Tuesday to The House That Small Business Built, a Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg project. “As a family-owned business, we recognize the value of having a home to call your own,” said Elizabeth McCormick, Executive Vice President of the fuel company started by her grandfather 75 years ago. Consociate Media launched fundraising for The House That Small Business Built to celebrate its 10th anniversary in business and seeded the project with its first $10,000. McCormick, at left, is shown here with Consociate founder and managing partner Stephanie Heinatz. Plans call for the Habitat House That Small Business Built to be constructed in Charles City County in 2022. Nearly $25,000 has been raised for the project.
