Gwynne N. Gould, 97, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015.

He was a native of Providence, R.I., and was a Gloucester resident for the past 40 years. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. After the war, he was employed by NASA, and retired in 1976. 

Mr. Gould was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary Smith Gould.

He is survived by his children, Linda Steffey (Bruce), Anthony F. Gould of Cal., Betty Gentry (Steve) of Toano; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his very special friends, Tab and Tammy Fox of Hayes.

A private interment will be held in Grafton Christian Church Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
