GUEST donation

Deloris Stokes (pictured at right) raised $5,600 this year with her church, First Morning Star Baptist, Bena, to donate to the Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team (GUEST) shelter. The money will be used to house local homeless people during severe weather. People and businesses who contributed to the funds include the families of Pastor Larry Arrington and Pastor Ward Warren of First Morning Star, Kenneth and Nan Evans, Rick’s Upholstery & Auto Trim, Phillips Energy, Inc., Hogg Funeral Home, Hodges & Bryant, LLC, The Farmer’s Daughter, and Tracy A.
