GREA to hold summer luncheon

The Gloucester Retired Educators Association will hold a catered summer luncheon at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, at the Disabled American Veterans’ building, 6265 Professional Drive, Gloucester.
Guest speaker Glenn Strum of the Gloucester Extension Service will speak on osteoporosis and present nutritional choices to help prevent it. He will also discuss ways to slow its progression for those who already have it.
The Retired Educator of the Year and scholarship recipients will be recognized during the meeting, as well.
The catered lunch will consist of chicken salad, pasta salad, sliced tomato, crackers, rolls, fruit salad, strawberry shortcake, and tea or water. The cost is $17, dine-in or take-out.
