Three Grateful Dead tribute bands will participate in the annual Jerry Birthday Celebration beginning at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Flat Iron Crossroads, 7709 Flat Iron Road, Gloucester. Doors open at 3:30 with the Get Cheesy food truck and beer, wine, and soft drinks at the FIX Bar. Coolers, cups, and outside beverages and food are not permitted. Up first, at 4:30, will be Cats on a Blacktop, a Southeast Virginia band, followed at 6 by Liquid Garcia, hailing from North Carolina’s Research Triangle. The headliner, beginning at 7:30 p.m., will be Wolph, a Williamsburg-based band founded in 2022 by then-16-year-old friends Dylan Stickle and Josh Wright.
