GRACE ANNABELLE THOMPSON

Grace Annabelle Thompson (Anne) of Gloucester, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

She was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., on Jan. 31, 1922, and is survived by her son, Craig Thompson and wife Ann of Efland, N.C.; daughter, Lynn Nesbitt of Gloucester; grandchildren, Alan Thompson of Efland, N.C., and Tara Nesbitt of Gloucester, and great-grandchildren, Karionna and Jorden Dabney, both of Gloucester. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Inskeep of Niagara Falls, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Thompson Jr.; her brother, George Florence, and sister, Madelen Vernon.

She was a member of Bellamy United Methodist Church, Gloucester, and was active in the church’s XYZ Club.

The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

She is greatly loved and will always be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bellamy United Methodist Church, where she will be joined with her husband.
