Good Shot Judy will give a special performance at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Groovin’ in the Park concert series at Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park.
The acoustic duo StonesThrow will open the show at 5 p.m. Gates open at 4, with food and drinks available for purchase. The performance will be outside, rain or shine.
Good Shot Judy has become Virginia’s premiere big band, specializing in recreating the classic nightclub entertainment feel of Las Vegas in its prime, said a press release. It has a wide repertoire of classic swing and Latin hits, as well as classic ballads and cocktail music.
StonesThrow features guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Jeff Green of Hayes, and pianist, guitarist and vocalist Eddie Terrell of Yorktown, performing both original pieces and tunes from other artists.
